The History of the Family

The Ancient
Tiberian Road

The Tiberian Road is the ancient route that starts from the city and immerses itself in the wonderful and fertile plain of the Tiber, rich in centuries-old forests and vast agricultural fields, characterized by fascinating colors that change with the passing of the seasons.

Just twenty minutes from Rome, on the Tiberian Road, lies the Pallavicini Mori agricultural estate. A property of 270 hectares whose origins date back to the 16th century, previously owned by the Altieri family and later by the Pallavicini family.

The current owner, Augusta Pallavicini Mori, is the daughter of Marquis Andrea Pallavicini, and her grandparents are Roberto Fabio Pallavicini (patrician from Genoa) and Maria Augusta Altieri (noblewoman from Rome).

The Eight-Pointed
Star

The eight-pointed star of the Altieri family is the coat of arms and “logo” of this estate, symbolizing a luminous path. The noble coat of arms is closely linked to the devotion to the Madonna of the Stars (the Virgin is also called Stella Maris), to whose veneration the Altieri family contributed.

The “star” greets visitors from the entrance gate, which leads to the rural village. In the center of the square or courtyard is an imposing restored watering trough, now a work of art and an intriguing monument to labor, positioned at the center of a village rich in historical charm.

The Meeting Between
Past and Future

The building complex was completely renovated after twelve years of costly and complex restoration work aimed at preserving the identity of the buildings while modernizing them internally to make them functional.

Currently, the estate is an exclusive accomodation of the highest level: a charming relais immersed in the quiet of the countryside, surrounded by majestic oak trees and traces of Etruscan and Roman civilizations.

Although the activity was launched recently, the relais has quickly attracted the interest of tourists, particularly foreigners.

“The meeting between past and future has been constantly sought,” emphasizes Marchesa Pallavicini Mori, assisted in the management by Vincenzo Rota, president of Confagricoltura Roma.

The Rural
Complex

The buildings of the village, recovered from abandonment and modernized, offer the utmost comfort for vacations focused on total relaxation.

The rural complex includes reception and conference halls, a restaurant, and a swimming pool. The accommodations for guests are actual mini-apartments, some equipped with kitchenettes for families with children.

The decor blends modern elements with historical details, such as ceilings with wooden beams, antique trunks, writing desks, and armchairs. Particularly charming are the mezzanines in the rooms, where retro bathtubs stand out.

In the reception and administrative center, a modern table stands next to an ancient sieve hanging on the wall, symbolizing the perfect combination of tradition and innovation.
